Famed illustrator Norman Rockwell’s “The Clock Mender,” featuring Marshall Field’s iconic clock. This painting, which shows the clock maker setting the time by his pocket watch, was featured on the cover of The Saturday Evening Post on Nov. 3, 1945. The clock is at State Street and Washington Street in Chicago, IL.

Watchful eye

The Kelch Chanticleer egg is a jeweled, enameled Easter egg made by Michael Perchin under the supervision of the Russian jeweller Peter Carl Fabergé in 1904. It was made for the Russian industrialist Alexander Ferdinandovich Kelch, who presented the egg to his wife, Barbara Kelch-Bazanova.
